Yes, it's true! He's left me behind and had a joyride with somebody else...And it's not the first time he did it....The first was with Sheikh and now, he's with Cris and it seems he has a favorite place to take his "friends", a place he had fallen in love with, a serene place called Dingalan Aurora.
It all started days after our North Loop together, Sheikh or Armand, a fellow member of Motorcycle Philippines started a thread regarding his North Loop Adventure with his kid and mentioned that he was inspired by what he had read from our blog. Jun and Armand had some chit chats through the said site and Facebook and on April 22, they went to the province of Aurora, Dingalan to be exact.
Jun arrived home at around 3:00 in the afternoon and was ecstatic while he told me stories about their ride...the reason, Dingalan was a seafood-lover's paradise and my husband is a real big big fan of seafoods!
According to him, you could buy these fresh goods at a reasonable price but what's expensive was to have them cooked. The locals were offering a "paluto" service to visitors at a quite expensive rate but Jun said it was "sulit" because their cooking was really delicious.
Three days after their trip, Armand, Jun's newly found friend flew back to Doha Qatar for work.
We had been to beautiful beaches before, but Dingalan seemed to have struck Jun that he often tells me about his plans of going back. I wanted to see this place myself so I told him that I wanted to go with him on his next visit, but at this very moment as i write this blog, he was out there enjoying the beauty of Dingalan with his old friend and former neighbor, Cris.
He happened to reconnect with this friend of his through Yahoo Messenger, shared and exchanged talks about their motorcycles and ride adventures, then agreed to go for a ride to Aurora. They left this morning at around 5:30am.
Oh, don't get me wrong here...I don't feel bad about it, not at all...In fact, I'm glad that my husband's in this kind of thing. Doing something we both love to do and doing it with other people sometimes. It's nice to know he's able to meet new friends and had a chance to bond with an old pal. Yes, it's his 2nd time and on the third, I'll make sure it's me he'll go with. See you soon Dingalan! :)
